Foster/Vance Americana/Blues Duo
Stephen Foster & Gary Vance are touring duo this year. Concerts/Fests are already set up in AR/TX/ME/CT/DE/FL so far. Here are a couple of live videos we shot. I play keys and guitars, Gary plays guitars and blows a mean harp. We both sing. Gary has a new album coming out this Summer and I have 9 albums out, working on another one.

Stephen Foster
I'm from Muscle Shoals, Sweet Home Alabama. I cut my teeth playing for Percy Sledge starting in '69. Played on hundreds of sessions in Muscle Shoals. Wrote for Skynyrd. Owned studios and played the road. Had a hit record in '79 "For The Love of A Girl" and concerts followed. Released "The Mighty Field of Vision Anthem" in '00, which has had over 1,000,000 downloads over 20 years. "Howl At The Blues" hit Billboard Top-40 in '07. Many years of gigging all over the USA. 9 albums released. Studio/Label owner, syndicated radio show host of "Direct From Muscle Shoals". Play keys and guitars live and, of course, I sing, and continue to be an ambassador for Muscle Shoals, Sweet Home, Alabama.

Gary Vance
Gary Vance is a Texas-raised Blues-Harp player ala Butterfield Blues & Charlie McCoy. He played harp on my CMA-Nominated track "She's Gone" in 2011. Gary is a road warrior and an accomplished singer-songwriter, having appeared at The Bluebird Cafe in Nashville 4 times. He works with me in a duo act "Foster/Vance" He plays harp accompaniment to my songs, and I play keys & guitars on his songs. He also plays great acoustic guitar and slide. Gary has a new album coming out this Fall with all-original material, the rhythm tracks recorded with Jason Isbell's 400-Unit rhythm section here in Muscle Shoals.
